The International Icon Tarot

An extremely cool Tarot deck made by Robin Ator, a multi-talented artist/illustrator/animator from Portland, Oregon. Unlike many other Tarot decks, the International Icon doesn’t talk down to you or expect you to understand any high-falutin’ mumbo jumbo voodoo symbolism. It’s just a nice friendly straight-talking deck that gets the job done. It’s the deck used in the Tarot Stripped Bare DVD and the one used on this site.  Want a copy for yourself? Here you go.

The Tarot Doctor

A clever alias used by Lynda Cowles, writer and co-producer of the Tarot Stripped Bare DVD and author of this site.  She’s not a real doctor, just someone who believes that learning Tarot doesn’t need to be complicated. She runs Tarot Chest, an webstore specializing in Tarot decks and accessories. She can also be found writing at the Archer Tarot and Haindlicious blogs and occasionally in the e-zine of the Tarot Association of the British Isles. She is currently writing her first book.
